In accordance to with the mission of the Satellite Video Exchange Society,
VIVO MEDIA ARTS CENTRE provides support to its members and other non-profit
organizations. Individuals or groups may apply to Management using the
following guidelines:
Management will review proposals at regularly scheduled meetings.
Management works with a finite budget for sponsorship support during each
12 month period. The amount of project support is contingent on funds
available.
All sponsorships are subject to the same conditions as stated in the
access policies.
Sponsorship Equipment Requests
The Society can support a maximum of a 40% discount on facilities and
equipment.
The member/ organization must pay 60% in cash.
Sponsorship Venue Requests
The Society can support a MAXIMUM of 50% discount for studio rental.
Management cannot offer any discount on the technicians' and venue managers'
fees.
Considerations:
Merit of the project re: content, conceptual and artistic development.
Reflection of equity initiatives as outlined in the Equity Policy.
Evidence of the ability to complete the project.
Access to media facilities elsewhere.
Notice: All agreements are null and void if payment is not received in
advance and if the project is not completed according to the scheduled
outlined.
